JENED®️
Client Testimonial, 2022
"Having a special education rock star with you at your IEP meeting to make sure your child is being properly supported makes all the difference in the world. Navigating these meetings and what is or isn't needed is like walking through a minefield with a blindfold on. Having an advocate by your side removes the blindfold." K.S. 2022

GET TO KNOW JEN
#JeneralEducation is for everyone!
I hold a Masters Degree in Special Education and since the fall of 1992, I have been working in classrooms in various capacities. I have taught in most every education setting and have provided family support and advocacy since 2005.
My skills include excellent verbal and written communication abilities that allow me to connect effectively with those I serve. I am adept at problem-solving and critical thinking, enabling me to develop creative solutions to any challenge. My passion for advocacy is driven by the belief that all students, no matter their age or history, are worthy of love, care, and support.
A critical component of my success is empathy, which is rooted in my understanding and knowledge of the neurosequential model of development. This model highlights the significance of supportive nurturing relationships and requires a sensitive approach to meeting the complex needs of special populations.
